With the help of the Digital Fabrication techniques, we can produce complex forms and free form surfaces in CNC machines directly from the digital CAD model. Milling is a process where a revolving tool remove material of the production mass. the tool move rapidly from point to another following a programmed path, usually named as G-Code.
Parametric tools help us to define this path in an adaptable way fit with our design needs. e.g. we can create textures, patterns and even cut surfaces, that include simple 2D planes and complex 3D double curved surfaces .
Milling output could be a final process. or could be a terminal process where the model used to cast (Negatively or Positively) another material.
